Event Details


                 

T           This talk will provide information for parents, teachers, Principals and school counsellors.

 It will address three aspects relating to gifted children

            Gagne’s Model of Talent Development,

            How to prepare a portfolio of your child’s work 

            What is it about gifted girls?

After the talk parents will have a better understanding of what gifted and talented is and how it may be demonstrated in gifted girls in particular, along with some very practical tips about the importance of developing a portfolio of your child's work and how to use it when advocating for them with their school.

 

  DATE:  Saturday 27th  August 2011   TIME:   9:30am-3.00pm

  VENUE: Haydon Allen Lecture Theatre ( Also known as The Tank)    ANU
